Collapsing in.

You can’t buy your way into feeling safe.
Can you arm yourself enough to keep from feeling so afraid?

How are you defined?
Which are you, hero or the victim?
Can’t you recognize
if everyone is alpha, then no one is
…and no one is.

You say bring it back,
and it sounds like a projection
of what you lack.

It must be small.
All those props won’t help at all.
There’s no supplement
you can take to make you whole.

Empty inside;
Define yourself in opposition, overcompensate.
There’s a strong suggestion in your preoccupation;
You protest too much.
Far too much.

A rebel who can’t change is unworthy of the name.
